Area Birding ExpeditionMay 18, 2008

On Sunday, May 18, approximately 15 members of the Athol Bird and Nature Club joined Jeff Johnstone on his Sunday Morning Bird Walk. The trip visited sites in Athol and New Salem with the highlight for all being a wonderful, long look at a Black-billed Cuckoo at the first stop in Athol. Between 7:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. 60 species of birds were sited.
