Forestry Library:
Resources for the Landowner

Mass. D.E.M.
The Millers River Environmental Center houses a Forestry Library that is available to residents and visitors to this region. Funding for the collection was provided to the Athol Bird and Nature Club by a grant from the Department of Environmental Management and enables all of us to learn more about our forest resources and woodlot management. The books listed below are current references targeted to our region and are designed to be used for study at the Center. The library will be a ready resource during forestry workshops run at the Center.

Visit us during open hours, Tuesday 1-5, Wednesday 9-12, or Thursday 9-12 or call the Center 978-248-9491 to arrange your visit for another time. Groups are encouraged to discuss programming designed to meet your organization's needs that utilize the Center's library and materials resources as well as our guide services to nearby habitats of our region.
